National Science and Engineering Week Dr Ray Priest Lecture in Memory of Stephen Lawrence RACE AND SCIENCE Wednesday March 17th 2010 3pm/3.30pm to 5pm The theme for this open lecture at the City Academy Bristol is the concept of Race in relation to science and the study of human diversity, and related issues. It is in honour of our Principal, Dr Priest, a committed anti-racist, who will be retiring later this year. Teaching school staff and Post 16 students, local community members, the voluntary sector, local politicians and others are being invited. Questions from the floor will be welcomed. Speakers: *Professor Adam Rutland, Professor of Developmental Psychology, University of Kent.
