Bristol South Local Elections

On May 6 2010 all 12 city council wards south of the river have a seat coming up for election  - including Southville , where Green councillor Charlie Bolton is standing down and Tess Green hopes to take his place.

Once again, we expect to have a Green candidate in every ward.   You can find them listed here - or use the sidebar to go to particular wards.

Last time these wards came up, in 2007, our vote varied from 4 to 40 percent, averaging just over 15% - but we won none of the seats. Pity about the electoral system !
