Southville Spotlight
Green policies are popular in Southville; just popular enough to have elected Bristol's first Green councillor, Charlie Bolton, by the narrowest of margins on May 4th 2006.

Local Green Party councillor Charlie Bolton (seen above at the monthly market that he set up at the Tobacco Factory) initiated and coordinated both the 'Local Food Weeks' organised through the Project.

What next?
Our news pages will be covering some of the work that Charlie and the Greens are doing around Southville - while Charlie's own blog gives a selection of stories about life as a green councillor. And on 3rd May 2007, Southville's other council seat comes up for election. If you'd like to help the Greens to win it, please get in touch!
