Monthly social for new members

If you're new to the party, why not come along to one of our monthly pub get-togethers? The next one will be on Wednesday, 8th September, at The Canteen, Hamilton House, Stokes Croft from 7pm.

Hello everyone,

My name is Gus Hoyt and I am the Green Party candidate for the Ashley ward in the May 2011 council elections. Apart from all the official Green Party activity, we all enjoy a good social and as of September we are starting a monthly "pub session" for the "younger" members of the party.

These hope to be a great chance to meet other members, chat, laugh and plan the future we all hope for. Simply a social event, but... if you have a great idea for a local/national campaign or event/publicity stunt, bring them along to share with like-minded individuals.

The socials will not be a closed-loop group and anyone can come along, so feel free to bring friends and partners.

We are going for the first Wednesday of the month for regular pub sessions, with the first starting on Wednesday, 8th September. For the first session The Canteen at Hamilton House in Stokes Croft will be a good central location. Anytime from 7pm.

Official meetings normally take place towards the end of the month if you are interested in these. The next meeting is taking place on Tuesday, 31st August, downstairs at Cafe Kino, Ninetree Hill, Kingsdown (a little up the road from Hamilton Hopuse) at 7pm.
