NHS Rally London 10th April

On the 10th April, there will be a national demonstration in London in defence of the public services (see http://www.lookafterournhs.org.uk/). We urge as many Green Party members as possible to come along to this rally to show that they and the Green Party support the NHS.

The Green Party supports fully publicly funded public services and has long opposed privatisation of the public services, particularly the NHS. We support the doctors, nurses and other health care professionals in their efforts to protect and preserve the NHS as a public health service, free at the point of delivery and paid for out of public taxation, not through the Private Finance Initiative or other forms of private funding.
