St George East
Chloë Somers is the Green Party candidate for St George East in the City Council elections on Thursday 5th May 2011.
Chloë has been involved in Green activity throughout her life. She believes that the Green Party offers the only viable solution to building a truly sustainable future. Her particular interests are public transport, provision for green planning within Bristol and education.
Chloë stood as a candidate on the Green Party list in the 2009 European Elections for the South West and was the press officer for the South West region. She has been active in the Green Party in Norwich, Bath and now Bristol.
Chloë lives near Temple Meads in Bristol and gets the train to work in Swindon. She also has a part-time weekend job at a local restaurant. She grew up in Bath and went to university in Bristol, Würzburg (Germany) and Norwich. Chloë represents her local community on Redcliffe Futures Group and in her spare time enjoys singing in Exultate, a chamber choir in Bristol.
St George East is in Bristol East parliamentary constituency and is part of Bristol North Green Party.
