'The Terrorist threat' - Charlie Bolton, 8 March 2005

Dear Sir

Charles Clarke challenges opposition parties to say what they would do about 'the terrorist threat'.

Rather than adopting draconian legislation, I suggest we do the following two things.

First - at the general election, vote Labour and Blair out of office. Make it absolutely clear that the British involvement in the war in Iraq was not done with the will of the British people.

Second - get the troops out of Iraq, only to return if they are invited and part of an international force.
