A proper Charlie - Charlie Bolton, 4 April 2005

To: Venue

Dear Sir

I have been told that Prince Charles was in a bad mood due to the lack of snow on his skiing holiday.

Well from one Charlie to another (although clearly the Prince is the proper one), perhaps I could make a couple of offers.

First, the Greens would like the Prince to have a vote in elections. Admittedly, we want to abolish any constitutional arrangement between the government of the UK and the Prince, but we would encourage his royal personage to participate in the democratic process.

Second, we would urge him to vote Green. Given that lack of snow is probably a result of climate change, and that the Greens are the only party taking climate change seriously, he must know it makes sense.

So there you have it, a simple two point Green Party plan to cheer up the Grumpy old prince.

Yours

Charlie Bolton
