Filwood returns two councillors to the Bristol City Council. In May 2007, one seat (currently LibDem held) comes up for election after a
four year term
Graham Davey (right), who lives in Knowle, is the Bristol South Green Party's candidate in the City Council elections on May 3rd 2007.
Xavier Panades was Bristol South Green Party's candidate for the Filwood ward in May 2006. In spite of a bitter contest between the LibDem and Labour candidates, which drew many tactical votes, Xavier still saw the Greens' share of the vote more than double to 6%.
