Chris has been involved with promoting better transport, planning, markets, recycling, local swimming pools and arts with the Council both while he worked for it for eight years and in the five years since.
Chris now works for a small charity, Streets Alive which promotes neighbourliness through street parties. Bristol has more than any town in the UK! He is also Chair of the Bristol branch of Living Streets which promotes better streets and walking facilities.
He works in Cabot, lives nearby, and knows how reducing traffic is a key issue. He continues to support Residents Parking Permits for the whole central area of the city like in Bath and London.
Chris fully supports Green Party policy against the Proposed Development of Castle Park.
His elderly parents recently moved to Bristol to be nearby. This has brought into sharp focus the booming and complex issues of services for older people. |
