Clifton Ward

Alex Dunn is the Green Party candidate in the May 2007 Council Election.

Alex Dunn

Alex has lived in Bristol since 1975.  Alex’s interests include his allotment, running the Bristol Quiz league and Grendel Cricket Club.  He is chairman of Horfield Chess Club.  Alex has worked as a Chemistry Teacher and in IT.  He was head of IT at Hill House Hammond until HHH was closed by Norwich Union.  He currently runs his own IT consultancy.  He says:‘You can vote for the real thing in Clifton.  Every Green vote puts more pressure on other parties to green up.  But once that pressure comes off they will revert to type.  Each Green councillor joining Charlie Bolton will reinforce the Green message.’

‘I was ashamed to see that Bristol was a ‘one star council (Audit Commision report) ’.  With such a proud civic tradition in Bristol why are we so badly run?’
