So many fantastic Years working hard FOR CLIFTON DOWN

From transforming Cotham Hill and tackling housing issues, to dealing with flooding streets and taking your views to City Hall, serving Clifton Down has been a privilege for us both. We have worked on the day-to-day issues you raise, enjoyed meeting with so many of you over the years and brought motions to council on renters’ rights, housing and climate change.

Tom became a Green councillor here in 2021 during the pandemic and has enjoyed working with local people to get through an exceptionally turbulent time for us all. Tom is moving away but, as a local boy, he‘s sure to be back. Carla was first elected in 2015 as the first ever Green councillor for the area. She has been a tireless campaigner for Clifton Down and is now preparing to represent our wider community as the Green MP candidate for Bristol Central.

Serena and George have been supporting our work in Clifton Down. As dedicated local campaigners, they’ve been talking to you on the doorstep and helping to tackle local issues.

George was born at St Michael’s Hospital and grew up here. He has worked in the community for years as a volunteer with local organisations in and around Clifton Down. Serena has lived locally for almost 30 years and has great experience from her background in town planning, PR and journalism. They have a broad range of skills and experience and, having both lived in our community for so long, they really understand the issues that matter to residents here.

It’s been great to see George and Serena working so well together as a team already. As your Green councillors, they will keep up the hard work and get things done for Clifton Down.
